Accommodation

During 2011 and 2012, the accommodation will be fully reconfigured and refurbished to provide a majority of single rooms with en-suite toilets or wet rooms. Many rooms will be bedsitting rooms and therefore can offer fully self-contained accommodation for those who wish it.

There will be two double bedrooms to accommodate couples or people wishing to share. Two fully assisted shower rooms and two fully assisted bathrooms will be added. A second vertical lift will be provided to give access to all rooms including the basement. A hairdressing salon will be provided.

Bedrooms

Eversleigh currently offers single rooms and twin rooms, and the majority have en-suite facilities with showers. Most rooms are large and all meet the size requirements laid down.

We ensure Eversleigh is homely, well decorated, and clean, and encourage residents to personalise their bedrooms with familiar belongings.

Kitchen

The kitchen has been specially designed to meet the needs of the Home. The catering department has been awarded the top
Gold Star rating by Warwickshire Council.

Showers and bathrooms

There are assisted showers and bathrooms on each floor.

Lounges and dining rooms

There are two lounges and one dining room for communal use.

Lifts

A shaft lift and two stair-lifts offer access to almost all the bedrooms. The few remaining bedrooms can be accessed by mobile residents.

Garden

The garden is fully accessible for wheelchairs, and residents and their visitors are encouraged to use the grounds.
